The perfect time of the year for any computer to fail is when only a month of your college semester is remaining. I have my laptop, and I will install my tablet and such on here, but

Nobody's commissions are gone--thankfully the other day I backed up the files and I'm glad I did so. My hard drive was bound to fail. Last year I started having "Hard Drive Failure is Imminent" messages. So I'm surprised that it has lasted as long as it has already. If you ever see that message, just be prepared and cautious and keep backing up while you can, because one day it may render unusable.
Right now I'll try to look for a solution, but temporarily I'm just going to go and announce commissions to be on hold and closed at the moment. I really hope this doesn't take long to solve. I feel horrible whenever things like this have to happen, and I hate making people wait.
Since I have break in between classes, I'll use this time to ramble a little.
My motherboard wasn't the problem like last time.
The hard drive, after a year, decided its time came to an end. I contemplated replacing the hard drive, but I'd probably have to buy a Windows 7/8 disc; there was NO recovery disc at all that came with this computer which is just annoying. I'll see if I can open the tower and fiddle around and make sure the hard drive is really connected, and mess with the BIOS, but I really think it's done for. Trying to fix this computer and replace parts might cost a lot and it's better to just get a new one anyway. My graphics driver sucked in that thing. You know what, I might go with a gaming computer
Those things run like a monster.
On the bright side, I don't have to deal with the everyday occurrence of this message.
And to add insult to injury, I opened my blinds as soon as I woke up... and inches of snow covered everywhere. For those of you who aren't aware, I live by Lake Michigan, and when it's winter, it's winter. And winter doesn't like to leave that fast. Nope. It will linger around until April or May. And I used to be okay with snow. Really. We had a mild winter last year which was strange. But this year I was reminded of why I hate living here with the two-foot of snow or so piling up. So finally, much to every citizen's joy, the past few days the snow finally decided that it should go away and leave us alone, and it was raining happily and thundering, all that good stuff. All of this reminded me that spring is coming.
Spring didn't come.
I hope everyone has a good day regardless!
